Time Froze for a Millisecond

Time Froze, but for a millisecond.

Shot taken at a shutter speed of 1/60th of a second. This droplet was captured right in the middle while it faithfully followed the law of gravity. It had no idea what my shot would look like when I was trying to capture it. Because I wanted to shoot a drop hanging midway in air. The housefly in the left just tells us what could be the size of the drop. The image is not very sharp but yes its beautiful. Don't we miss these moments in our hustle -bustle of everyday life. ..?

Drop in Thorns

A water drop caught in middle of barbed wire mesh. The droplet beautifully captures the reflection of the wires around it. So contrasting is nature that it has brought together two ends, a hard metal and a tiny innocent pure and clear water drop. They portray in harmony a fabulous texture. This was shot in one of the hotels in Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh in 2009.
